Pineapple Mango Salsa
This is the easiest pineapple mango salsa you will ever make, bursting with fresh flavors and gorgeous color. The only disappointing thing about this salsa is that it disappears too fast!

I’m not a fan of sweet salsa, so I needed to find a way to still enjoy the heat from a jalapeno and fruity flavors without sweetness overkill. And well…here it is.
This salsa is wonderful with chips, tacos, burritos, enfrijoladas, quesadillas, and even scooped up with some refried beans.
To Make Easy Pineapple Mango Salsa, You Will Need These Ingredients:
- Fresh pineapple about 2 cups
- Mango
- Large or 2 Medium tomatoes
- Cloves of garlic ~ Joseph Joseph Garlic Rocker Crusher Mincer is my all-time favorite garlic tool.
- Jalapeno chilies, seeded and chopped finely
- Cilantro
The salsa can still be enjoyed for several days, but the best flavor, and I think you will agree, is on the first and second days.
Some Health Benefits Of This Salsa Are:
- Rich in Vitamins A, C, and B6
- Boost the immune system
- Low calorie
- Contains antioxidants
- Anti-inflammatory benefits
The pineapple needs to be grilled for this salsa. I cut my pineapple into large pieces and cooked it on my Dash pancake cooker, leaving the lid up. Crazy, I know…but my Dash cooker was the most convenient way to prepare the pineapple the first time I made this salsa. This worked so well; that’s what I still do.
Enjoy!
Pineapple Mango Salsa
Ingredients
- 1/2 a fresh pineapple peeled and sliced, core removed, or about 2 cups
- 1 mango ~ peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 1 Lg tomato or 2 medium ~ chopped into small pieces
- 2 cloves garlic minced ~ Joseph Joseph Garlic Rocker Crusher Mincer is my all-time favorite garlic tool.
- 1 1/2 - 2 jalapeno chilies seeded and chopped finely
- 1/4 cup cilantro ~ chopped
Instructions
- Lightly grill the fresh pineapple sections until lightly brown on both sides. I actually use my pancake cooker for this, and it works great. I leave the lid open and use it like a griddle.
- After the pineapple is grilled, cut it into small pieces. Place pineapple pieces in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add all the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
- I sample some to check for mild or medium heat preference. Add more jalapeno and cilantro if desired.
- Refrigerate and serve the same day. The salsa can still be enjoyed for several days, but the best flavor, I think you will agree, is on the first and second days.
