Fill the donut sections 3/4 full when using a donut pan for the best results. If the sections are too full, the donuts will rise over the top, covering part of the center.

To Make Healthy Baked Donuts With Maple Butter, You Will Need These Ingredients:

These are so tasty that you might want to double the recipe. Best of all, they only take about 10 minutes to bake. They are delicious plain, or you can lightly frost them or add some drizzle. Maple butter is amazing and my favorite. Vanilla or chocolate comes in a close second for me. The maple butter, drizzle, and frosting will firm up when they reach room temperature. I add the toppings 10 minutes after the donuts come out of the oven and are removed from the pan.

  • 1/4 cup Pure maple syrup
  • 3/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or a gluten-free one-to-one blend or oat flour. I used half cup of a gluten-free blend and half cup of oat flour.
