To Make A Corn-Free and Allergy-Friendly Substitute Worcestershire Sauce You Will Need These Ingredients:

  • Onion powder
  • Chili powder
  • Ground cloves
  • Clove garlic
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Fish sauce ~ Red Boat Fish Sauce is shellfish-free
  • Honey or agave syrup ~ Read labels carefully on honey; it must be pure. If you see honey blend or honey product on the label, it is NOT pure honey and has fillers (corn syrup) which could be dangerous for someone with food allergies. Here are two products that are pure honey, Adee Honey Farms and Fischer’s 100% Organic Honey.
  • Molasses
  • Tamarind paste ~ many are gluten-free, check labels to be sure.

Whisk ingredients together and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

    1. Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for sharing this, I did not know fillers were added to honey. I have always purchased mine from local farmers that I know and trust. This is so frustrating to be mislead as a consumer. And that goes for the molasses too.

I’ll have to make some changes on my recipes for sure.

      Thanks again and take care,

      Mary
