GF Trail Mix Krispie Treats

GF Trail Mix Krispie Treats are a fun new twist on Rice Krispie treats. They have all my favorite ingredients and textures: sweet, chewy, and crunchy, with a little tartness from the dried cranberries. You could almost call these trail mix treats a “grown up” krispie treat, but kids love them too.

I’ve seen many variations of the original Rice Krispies recipe, but this one grabbed my attention since I love dried cranberries and chocolate! I found this recipe on the back of the Ocean Spray Craisins bag; they called it Trail Mix Treasures. But I made some changes for my gluten-free friends (and myself).
