Wholesome Oat Blender Waffles ~ Gluten-Free and Vegan
This wholesome oat blender waffle recipe has a hearty, nutty flavor to it. It is vegan, dairy-free, and really great for a yeast-free diet that has to restrict fruit. It is easy and can even be used for pancakes. I usually make waffles in large quantities so that I can have a freezer full for quick breakfasts and snacks.

This waffle recipe makes about 3-4 waffles.
To Make Wholesome Oat Blender Waffles, You Will Need These Ingredients:
- Old Fashioned Oats ~ certified gluten-free if needed
- Oat Bran ~ certified gluten-free if needed
- Water
- Salt
- Oil ~ optional, I don’t use any oil in my waffles
- Walnuts or pecans (chopped), optional. Omit for nut-free diets
These are delicious served with pure maple syrup, fruit, or nut butter.
Note: Batter will thicken as it sits. Add small amounts of water as necessary for easy pouring; this will not affect the outcome of the waffles.
I freeze extra waffles in freezer bags with wax paper in between each waffle—about three whole waffles per freezer bag. Then pop the waffle in the toaster in the morning or when a snack craving hits.
Remember, you can also use this recipe for pancakes. Either way, I think you will find it a favorite.

Enjoy!
