Meaty Chorizo Chili
A hearty, high-protein, meaty chili with a slight smoky flavor. A gluten-free Chorizo chili recipe.

- 1 1/2 lb Ground turkey chicken, pork, or beef
- 1 Bunch Green onion bunch tops only- chopped finely
- 1 Lg Green pepper - diced
- 1 Pkg SIETE Chorizo Seasoning Skillet Cooking Spice Packet
- 1 15 -ounce Can of Black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 15 -ounce Can of Red beans drained and rinsed
- 1 15-ounce Can of Tomato sauce
- 2 14.5-ounce Cans of Tomatoes- pureed that's optional; I just prefer pureed tomatoes over chunks
- 1 15-ounce Can of Water
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Cayenne
- Few grinds of Black pepper
- Few grinds of Sea salt
- 1/2 tbsp Chili pepper
- 4 ounce Optional grated cheese and chopped onion to serve with the chili.
Brown ground meat and drain in a strainer.
Return the cooked meat to a kettle, and sauté with the chopped green onion tops and green pepper.
Add Chorizo seasoning spice packet and 1/2 cup of water. Mix well.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
Simmer for 30-40 minutes.
