- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350.
In a medium mixing bowl add eggs, oil, and sweet potatoes.
Whisk until creamy and smooth.
Stir in flour.
Dust work area with flour.
Roll out dough to about 3/8 inch thickness. Grab some cookie cutters and have some fun making shapes.
Place cut out shapes on a cookie sheet. I use silicone mats for baking.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Then reduce heat to 300 and flip shapes over. Continue baking for 25-30 minutes.
When rolling out the dog bones, I prefer to use a pastry cloth. If you have ever used one, you know what I'm talking about! I absolutely can not live without a pastry cloth, it makes a world of difference in making pie crusts, rolled out sugar cookies, and doggie treats.
Store in an airtight container for 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage. My dog likes them straight from the freezer.
