Lemon & Honey Sorbet

A sensational fat-free frozen lemon treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice 6-7 lemons
  • 3/4 cup honey raw local honey is best. You can also use agave or half of each.
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan add honey and water. Heat over medium to low heat until combined and honey has melted.
  • Remove from heat and add lemon juice and zest. Stir to combine.
  • Cool mixture in the refrigerator.
  • Place mixture in the freezer in a freezer-safe container. I suggest using a container with a lid that is easy to open.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally throughout the day. When the mixture is frozen to your satisfaction...the sorbet is ready.

Notes

Plan ahead this will take all day to freeze. But it is worth the wait!
