Easy Oat Cookies For Dogs

- 1 cup Unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup Old fashioned oats
- 1 cup Grated carrots
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/3-1/2 cup Peanut butter ~ I used Skippy Creamy Natural
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, add all ingredients, mixing well.
Place one or two tablespoons of dough on a lined cookie sheet. One tablespoon for small dogs and two for large dogs.
Gently press an indention in the center of each cookie.
Bake for 18 minutes; check after 15 for smaller cookies.
Place 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter in the indention of the warm cookies. Let cookies cool to room temperature. Or add peanut butter after the cookies have cooled.
Once peanut butter has firmed up, store them in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze them for longer storage.
