Ham & Pineapple Skewers

Equipment

  • Metal or wood skewers.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar.
  • 2 Tbsp distilled white vinegar ~ lemon or lime juice for corn-free
  • 1 Tbsp oil.
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard.
  • 3/4 – 1 pound ham cut into 1 inch cubes.
  • 1 fresh pineapple cut into 1-inch squares. I cut squares and triangles.
  • Metal or wood skewers.

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to high.
  • In a small bowl mix the sugar, vinegar, oil, and mustard. Set up skewers with ham and pineapple alternating.
  • Set prepared skewers on a large platter or baking pan with sides. Brush skewers with prepared sauce.
  • Place skewers on the grill and cook about 8-10 minutes turning often and basting several more times as they cook.
