I enjoy making healthy dog treats almost as much as making “people” cookies. These new peanut butter and pumpkin-flavored dog treats are so good that dogs love every bite. In fact, this recipe might be their new favorite.
I bet you already have these simple ingredients in your kitchen:
- Eggs
- Peanut butter ~ preferably without added salt and sugar
- Canned pumpkin puree
- Flour
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Salt
- Honey ~ optional
- Water
Cookie cutters aren’t required, but they are fun to use. Rolling out the dough and cutting square shapes is an option, too, especially if you are short on time. Your furry canine friends will love these peanut butter & pumpkin treats in any shape or form.
I used two sizes of cookie cutters because we have a large Labrador, and my daughter and son-in-law have a smaller Cockapoo. All pups love getting a reward!
