If you are like me and like the taste of butterscotch chips in your cookies, then you will love these brownies. When you take a bite, part of it will be slightly crunchy, part of it chewy, and part of it will melt in your mouth.
To Make Nutella Chewy Swirl Brownies, You Will Need These Ingredients:
-
- Brown sugar
- Butter
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- All-purpose flour ~ one-to-one gluten-free flour blends can be substituted
- Baking powder ~ corn-free if needed
- Salt
- Butterscotch chips ~ King David Butterscotch Chips are dairy-free
- Cream cheese ~ dairy-free if needed
- Nutella ~ Nutella is not dairy-free; substitute with almond butter or peanut butter if needed
Before baking the brownies, the Nutella mixture is swirled through the brownie batter.
After baking I think you will find this flavor combination is hard to resist.
If you are craving a peanut butter brownie, swap out the Nutella for peanut butter and the butterscotch chips for semi-sweet chocolate chips.
I hope you enjoy these brownies, and be sure to try some flourless Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies.
