To Make GF Sesame Chicken, You Will Need These Items:

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Honey
  • Gluten-free soy sauce
  • Dried onion
  • Ketchup
  • Oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Cornstarch ~ sub with arrowroot if needed
  • Water
  • Sesame seeds

I served this dish with sauteed green beans, and everyone gobbled it all up! There’s lots of flavor in this dish, that’s for sure.

GF Sesame Chicken In The Crock-Pot

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breast cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dried Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp cold water
  • Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Put chicken cubes in the crock-pot.
  • Combine honey, soy sauce, dried onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic powder.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Remove chicken from crock-pot with a slotted spoon, leaving sauce.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and add to sauce in the crock-pot.
  • Mix well.
  • Replace lid and cook on high for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Add chicken back to the crock-pot and mix well.
  • Simmer on low until ready to serve.
  • Serve over rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds, this is optional.

    Excellent! I served this with Batsmati rice, and green beans with sautéed almonds to our friends who are gluten and dairy free. We added some of the almonds to the chicken too which I highly recommend! They raved about it!
