GF Sesame Chicken In The Crock-Pot

I think your family is going to love this tasty GF Sesame Chicken recipe.  There is a surprising “punch” of flavor that will have everyone going back for seconds…so you’re probably not going to have leftovers.

Scoop the saucy chicken over long-grain rice or cauliflower rice for fewer carbs.

Make it with or without sesame seeds. Maybe topping it with some fresh cut pineapple sounds good. I’d love to hear any ideas you come up with!

boneless, skinless chicken breasts
gluten-free soy sauce
dried onion
garlic powder
sesame seeds

GF Sesame Chicken In The Crock-Pot

  • Crock Pot


  • 1 1/2 lbs Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breast cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dried Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp cold water
  • Sesame Seeds


  • Put chicken cubes in the crock-pot.
  • Combine honey, soy sauce, dried onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic powder.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Remove chicken from crock-pot with a slotted spoon, leaving sauce.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and add to sauce in the crock-pot.
  • Mix well.
  • Replace lid and cook on high for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Add chicken back to the crock-pot and mix well.
  • Simmer on low until ready to serve.
  • Serve over rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds, this is optional.
